Latest Jambi Region Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (24/4/2024) at 13:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, red chili peppers, curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, premium rice, Indian mackerel, shallots, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,690 (9.45%) to Rp31,150 per kg. The price of broiler chicken saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp300 (0.8%) to Rp37,150 per kg.
