10 Provinces with the Highest Chicken Egg Prices (Thursday, January 20, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 30,840 per kg, data as of Thursday, January 20, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 30,880 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in West Papua was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 41,100 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 51,150 per kg.

Meanwhile, in North Maluku's modern markets, chicken eggs were sold at Rp 39,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 36,450 per kg, Bali Rp 34,750 per kg, and North Sumatra Rp 34,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are eight provinces with chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for chicken eggs are North Sulawesi, East Java, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
