Food Prices Today in DKI Jakarta Area: Red Chili and Salt Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (September 11, 2025) at 09:52 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are curly red chili, medium rice, broiler chicken meat, mackerel, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird''s eye chili, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp3,167 (8.68%) to Rp39,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dried soybean seeds (imported) experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.

6. Mackerel: Rp44,167 per kg (up 5.47%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp44,167 per kg (up 0.24%)
8. Red Onion: Rp44,167 per kg (down 3.12%)
9. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp43,333 per kg (down 1.12%)
