Current Food Prices in Aceh: Egg, Rice, and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (5/1/2025) at 12:06 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), iodized fine salt, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, broiler chicken, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp2,910 (6.13%) to Rp50,410 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp1,830 (4.89%) to Rp35,590 per kg.
