Jambi Region Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (5/9/2024) at 12:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, garlic cloves, shallots, milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp820 (2.72%) to Rp30,990 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price drop, falling by Rp710 (2.53%) to Rp27,340 per kg.
