Jambi Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Tuesday, April 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 09.23 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, farmer-level corn, premium rice, medium rice, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp6,130 (8.58%) to Rp77,590 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish had the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp1,000 (3.7%) to Rp26,000 per kg.
