Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Tuesday, April 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (16/4/2024) at 21.20 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, shallots, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, milkfish, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, pure beef, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp4,300 (9.14%) to Rp51,350 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most, dropping Rp6,240 (12.4%) to Rp44,070 per kg.

6. Garlic Bulbs: Rp42,200 per kg (up 1.66%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,580 per kg (up 1.95%)
8. Milkfish: Rp32,260 per kg (down 10.36%)
9. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,070 per kg (up 2.0%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,320 per kg (down 0.57%)
