Today's Food Prices (20/1) in East Java: Red Chili Up, Eggs Down

Today, the prices of several food items in East Java are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 20, 2026) at 17.13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are shallots, red chili, large red chili, broiler chicken meat, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler eggs and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili saw the highest increase of Rp636 (1.68%) to Rp38,409 per kg. The price of broiler eggs saw the deepest decrease of Rp227 (0.82%) to Rp27,432 per kg.
