Latest Food Prices in Bengkulu Region: Chili Prices Up, Beef Prices Down (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bengkulu today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 10.27 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, pure beef, shallots, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp3,720 (9.18%) to Rp44,230 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of pure beef saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp2,860 (2.11%) to Rp132,960 per kg.

7. Chicken Meat: Rp34,740 per kg (up 0.46%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,940 per kg (up 1.97%)
