10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Low-Quality Rice (Tuesday, October 3, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 13,270 per kg for low-quality grade II rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Overall, this week's average is higher than the previous week's average of Rp 13,180 per kg.

The daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Southeast Sulawesi was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 15,100 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality grade II rice in this province is higher, previously recorded at Rp 12,800 per kg.

Meanwhile, in North Sulawesi's modern markets, low-quality grade II rice was sold at Rp 15,100 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following this, the third highest prices for low-quality grade II rice were found in Maluku at Rp 14,800 per kg, Aceh at Rp 14,700 per kg, and Riau at Rp 14,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, 13 provinces recorded sales of low-quality grade II rice below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality grade II rice were Riau Islands, Jambi, and West Nusa Tenggara.
