Current Food Prices in Aceh: Sugar and Salt Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (25/12/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), shallots, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallot bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, broiler chicken, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, jumping Rp18,770 (40.6%) to Rp65,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of simple packaged cooking oil saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp390 (2.12%) to Rp18,000 per liter.

1. Pure Beef: Rp150,000 per kg (down 1.95%)
2. Mackerel: Rp65,000 per kg (up 40.6%)
3. Shallots: Rp42,000 per kg (up 13.39%)
4. Shallot Bulbs: Rp42,000 per kg (down 0.66%)
5. Curly Red Chilies: Rp42,000 per kg (up 20.86%)
6. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 8.31%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp40,000 per kg (up 36.71%)
8. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,000 per kg (down 0.47%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,000 per kg (down 0.55%)
10. Granulated Sugar: Rp19,000 per kg (up 3.6%)
11. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (up 0.84%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (down 2.12%)
