The average daily price of medium-sized garlic at traditional markets in Riau Islands Province has decreased by 2.82% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province increased by Rp200 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp34,450.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets has decreased from Rp35,450.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province over the past three months has decreased by 7.52%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province was traded at Rp37,250.

The highest price increase for medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2020 with an increase of 27.81%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2017 with a decrease of -13.47%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau Islands Province show ten commodities decreased and nine others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices include Green Chili, Chili, Red Chili, Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Fresh Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Layer Eggs, Garlic, and Large Red Chili.
