Lampung Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Tuesday, January 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (9/1/2024) at 13:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), farmer-level corn, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, premium rice, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase of Rp470 (1.67%), reaching Rp28,560 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,940 (5.72%), reaching Rp31,960 per kg.
