Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Wednesday, January 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (17/1/2024) at 12:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), milkfish, mackerel, red chilies, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp13,410 (56.65%) to Rp37,080 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn saw the lowest decrease of Rp730 (7.77%) to Rp8,670 per kg.
