Jakarta, Indonesia Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall (Sunday, January 14, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (14/1/2024) at 13.09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,320 (6.12%) to Rp74,890 per kg. Chicken meat experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp190 (0.48%) to Rp39,300 per kg.
