Indonesia's Food Prices on Monday (January 13th): Salt Up, Eggs Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (13/1/2025) at 13.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, iodized fine salt, pure beef, dry soybean (import), and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken, SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp190 (1.69%) to Rp11,400 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp750 (2.34%) to Rp31,280 per kg.
