Daily Price of Super Quality Rice at Modern Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets in West Java Province is recorded at Rp16,550 per kg. This price is unchanged from the previous day and the last week.

The price of Super I quality rice in modern markets has remained unchanged over the past month, remaining at Rp16,550 per kg.

Over the past three months, the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets in West Java has decreased by 0.6%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets in West Java Province was traded at Rp16,650 per kg.

The highest recorded price increase for Super I quality rice in modern markets in this province was in October 2021, with an increase of 23.23%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2021, at -18.85%.

According to PIHPS observations, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in West Java show nine commodities decreased and 18 increased. The commodities with price decreases are Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Red Onion, Medium-Sized Red Onion, and Garlic.

5. Grade I Lower Quality Rice per Kg: Rp13,250 per kg (up 0.38%)
6. Curly Red Chili per Kg: Rp95,500 per kg (up 45.58%)
7. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg: Rp21,450 per kg (up 1.66%)
8. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg: Rp22,750 per kg (up 4.12%)
9. Cooking Oil per Kg: Rp22,100 per kg (up 8.87%)
