Daily Prices of Low-Quality Grade II Rice in Traditional Markets, January 2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in Bengkulu Province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp14,950. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp15,050.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets over the past three months in Bengkulu shows a decrease of 0.99%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in Bengkulu Province was traded at Rp15,100.

The highest record for the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 15.54%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -13.45%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Bengkulu show three commodities decreased and 19 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chilies, Fresh Layer Eggs, and Chicken Eggs.
