10 Provinces with the Highest Fresh Chicken Egg Prices (Wednesday, March 9, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 29,070 per kg, as of Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 29,480 per kg.

The daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 45,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, fresh chicken eggs were sold at Rp 40,700 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh chicken eggs in North Sumatra was Rp 31,500 per kg, Central Sulawesi Rp 31,450 per kg, and Gorontalo Rp 31,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 10 provinces with fresh chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh chicken eggs are East Java, Jambi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
