Beef Prices in West Kalimantan Are the Highest Nationally (Monday, March 7, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of beef (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 162,270 per kg, data as of Monday, March 7, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 161,170 per kg.

The daily price of beef in modern markets in West Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia at Rp 201,400 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of beef in this province is lower. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 259,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Sulawesi, the price of beef was sold at Rp 193,300 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of beef in Bali was Rp 170,400 per kg, East Kalimantan Rp 168,950 per kg, and North Maluku Rp 164,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are eight provinces with beef prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest beef prices are Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
