Banten Food Prices Tuesday (July 23rd): Chicken, Rice, and Salt Prices Drop

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (23/7/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, pure beef, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), shallots, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,130 (4.24%), reaching Rp76,970 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the largest decrease, dropping Rp3,670 (10.91%) to Rp29,960 per kg.
