Today's Food Price Update in Riau: Prices of Cooking Oil, Salt, and Chili Peppers Rise (Monday, January 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Riau today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (15/1/2024) at 13.33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, red chilies, granulated sugar, pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish saw the highest increase, jumping Rp8,710 (24.09%) to Rp44,860 per kg. The price of broiler chicken saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp850 (2.52%) to Rp32,820 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,820 per kg (down 2.52%)
