Food Prices in Jakarta, Monday (April 14th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (14/4/2025) at 17.51 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, bulk cooking oil, red chilies (keriting), red chilies (rawit), and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, chicken meat, milkfish, shallots (bonggol), and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,371 (4.34%) to Rp57,059 per kg. Milkfish experienced the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp1,125 (2.57%) to Rp42,625 per kg.
