The daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Java Province has remained unchanged for the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Java province is recorded at Rp17,450 per kg. This price is unchanged from the previous day and the last week.

The price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets over the past 30 days has remained unchanged from the previous record of Rp17,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 2.05% from the previous price of Rp17,100 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with a 40.96% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a -29.86% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java show 14 commodities decreased and eight others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Shallots, Medium-Sized Shallots, Garlic, Medium-Sized Garlic, Red Chilies, Large Red Chilies, Curly Red Chilies, Red Chili Peppers, Granulated Sugar, and Local Granulated Sugar.
