East Java Food Prices Wednesday (December 4th): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (4/12/2024) at 08.40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, red chilies, garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp470 (4.04%) to Rp12,100 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp2,250 (12.42%) to Rp15,870 per kg.
