Price of Medium II Quality Rice in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 14:44 WIB, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in Central Java province did not change compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

As for the price 30 days ago, the development of the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets did not change from the previously recorded Rp14,15 thousand .

Meanwhile, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in Central Java over the last three months was seen to decrease by 0.7%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in Central Java province was traded at Rp14,25 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 11.21% and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020 with a decrease of -10.08%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in Central Java were recorded as nine commodities decreasing and 21 others increasing. The sembako with decreasing prices are Super I Quality Rice, Lower I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium I Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Medium II Quality Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Beef and Rice.

7. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp21,3 thousand per kg (down 0.23%)
8. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp45,45 thousand per kg (up 3.18%)
9. Large Red Chili per Kg Rp89,8 thousand per kg (up 64.02%)
10. Medium I Quality Rice per Kg Rp14,85 thousand per kg (down 1.33%)
