Current Food Prices in Banten: Salt Up, Chilies Down

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (10/6/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, red chili peppers, milkfish, chicken eggs, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,490 (7.88%) to Rp34,090 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,470 (8.22%) to Rp38,750 per kg.
