Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (26/7/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, chicken eggs, chicken meat, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, dry soybean (import), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most by Rp2,560 (6.61%) to Rp41,260 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers decreased the most sharply by Rp11,450 (15.53%) to Rp62,300 per kg.
