Current Food Prices in Central Java, What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (17/9/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, garlic cloves, farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, Indian mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,230 (10.83%), reaching Rp12,590 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp720 (4.47%), reaching Rp15,380 per liter.
