Forbes has released its 2022 list of the world's richest people under 30. A total of 12 young people made the list.
Four of these young billionaires are new to the list this year. The rest are returning names whose fortunes rose or fell during the pandemic.
According to Forbes, Kevin David Lehmann (19) remains the youngest billionaire for the second year in a row. His wealth now reaches US$2.4 billion, or approximately Rp34.45 trillion (using an exchange rate of US$1 = Rp14,358).
Kevin is the only teenager on the Forbes list. He inherited a 50% stake in his father's German drugstore chain. His father, Guenther Lehmann, owns the Drogerie Market pharmaceutical company.
Alexandra Andresen holds the next position, with a net worth of US$1.3 billion, or approximately Rp18.66 trillion, at the age of 25. Her wealth comes from an inheritance from her father, Johan Andresen Jr., in the form of shares in the family investment firm, Ferd.
Gary Wang (28) is one of the four young billionaires newly added to the Forbes list. His wealth amounts to US$5.9 billion. Gary is the founder and chief technology officer of the Bahamian-based cryptocurrency exchange FTX.

10. Gustav Magnar Witzoe (28 years old) – US$4.5 billion
11. Stanley Tang (29 years old) - US$1.2 billion
12. Andy Fang (29 years old) - US$1.1 billion
