The price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Riau Province has increased by 45.31% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in Riau Province's traditional markets increased by Rp10,750 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp65,900.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has increased from Rp45,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Riau over the past three months has increased by 130.02% from Rp28,650.

The highest price increase for daily large red chilies in the province's traditional markets was previously recorded in May 2022 with a 60.92% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2024 with a -36.08% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau today showed nine commodities decreased and 15 increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Quality II Rice, Low Quality I Rice, Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Branded Cooking Oil 2 in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, and Branded Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets by Province.
