Today's Food Prices in Banten: Red Chilies Up, Chili Peppers Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (5/4/2025) at 13.51 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 2 commodities increased in price and 22 commodities decreased.

The commodities that increased in price are large red chilies and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, pure beef, fresh buffalo meat (local), granulated sugar, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chilies surged the highest by Rp144 (0.24%) to Rp59,375 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers fell the most sharply by Rp7,368 (8.19%) to Rp82,632 per kg.
