Chicken Meat Prices at Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel's latest information, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Riau Province is recorded at Rp29,750. This price is up Rp300 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp28,850.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Riau over the past three months has fallen by 1.16%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Riau Province is traded at Rp30,100.

The record high for the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 20.18%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2017 with a decrease of -17.1%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau show nine commodities decreased and 15 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases are Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Quality II Rice, Low Quality I Rice, Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Branded Cooking Oil 2 in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, and Branded Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets by Province.
