Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Prices in Sibolga City Increased by 0.32% in June

The price of components contributing to food, beverage, and tobacco inflation in Sibolga City in June reached 0.32%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 0.76%. Among the six inflation groups measured in this region, the food, beverage, and tobacco group contributed 0.32% to the region's inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for food, beverages, and tobacco in Sibolga City was at 112.51 in June 2024, higher than the previous month's 112.15.

Compared to the same month last year, food, beverage, and tobacco inflation has fallen by 7.82% (year-on-year/yoy). Compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Sibolga City have grown by 4.12% (year-to-date/ytd).

This food, beverage, and tobacco inflation is the highest compared to other sub-groups (June 2024 data).

National inflation (general) in June 2024 was 0.12%, down from the previous month (month-to-month/m-to-m). Compared to the beginning of the year, national general inflation reached 1.04% (ytd), and compared to June 2019, inflation has decreased by 23.07% (yoy).
