Jakarta, Indonesia Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Rise, Egg Prices Fall (Tuesday, January 23, 2024)

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (23/1/2024) at 14.12 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, chicken eggs, red chilies, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp820 (2.22%) to Rp37,840 per kg. Chicken eggs saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,050 (3.66%) to Rp27,650 per kg.
