The daily price of shallots at traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province has increased by 93.38% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp42,350. This price is up Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp21,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 2.05% from the previously recorded price of Rp41,500.

The record high for the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2017 with an increase of 40.91%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2020 with a decrease of -18.32%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi show four commodities decreased and 14 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Curly Red Chili, Medium-Sized Shallots, Garlic, and Medium-Sized Garlic.
