Daily Price of Medium-Quality Rice in Traditional Markets, February 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:44 WIB, the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in East Java Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

However, compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp13,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in East Java over the past three months has increased by 0.73% from the previously recorded price of Rp13,750.

The record high for the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2024 with an increase of 5.99%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2024 with a decrease of -5.32%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Java show 12 commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Eggs, Medium-Sized Shallots, Garlic, Shallots, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Premium Quality Sugar, Local Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Sugar, and Large Red Chili.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the past month in East Java Province:

6. Garlic per Kg Rp51,200 per kg (down 3.31%)
7. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp45,350 per kg (up 0.78%)
8. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp20,100 per kg (up 0.25%)
