Today's Food Price Update in Central Java: Prices of Salt, Chicken, and Chilies Drop (Sunday, January 21, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (21/1/2024) at 11:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil (simple packaging), chicken eggs, pure beef, garlic bulbs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, farmer-level corn, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Wheat flour (bulk) experienced the highest price increase of Rp220 (2.23%), reaching Rp10,080 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp3,370 (10.04%), reaching Rp30,180 per kg.
