The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in West Papua is the Highest in Indonesia (Thursday, March 17, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 15,650 per kg, data as of Thursday, March 17, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 15,930 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in modern markets in West Papua was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 20,750 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in this province is lower. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 23,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in North Kalimantan, branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) was sold at Rp 20,600 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in Aceh was Rp 17,750 per kg, North Sulawesi Rp 17,150 per kg, and North Sumatra Rp 15,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 10 provinces with sales of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) are Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
