The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in Lampung is the Highest Nationally (Wednesday, May 3, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp22,490 per kg for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets across several provinces as of Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Overall, the average price this week is lower than the previous week's average of Rp22,500 per kg.

The highest daily price for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets was recorded in Lampung, at Rp31,200 per kg, the most expensive in Indonesia. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in this province is higher; previously it was recorded at Rp17,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Central Kalimantan's modern markets, branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) was sold at Rp27,300 per kg, the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) was Rp26,400 per kg in Maluku, Rp26,300 per kg in Bengkulu, and Rp25,050 per kg in North Maluku.

Meanwhile, 20 provinces recorded sales of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) were Bangka Belitung Islands, Central Sulawesi, and Jambi.
