Latest Food Prices in Indonesian Regions: Buffalo Meat, Sugar, and Oil Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (August 1, 2025) at 09:17 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 23 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler eggs and mackerel fish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, SPHP rice, consumption sugar, packaged wheat flour, and frozen buffalo meat (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler eggs saw the highest jump of Rp120 (0.41%) to Rp29,728 per kg. Meanwhile, corn prices at the farmer level experienced the deepest drop of Rp496 (7.65%) to Rp5,991 per kg.
