Food Prices Thursday (4/7) in Banten: Prices of Onions, Beef, and Cooking Oil Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (4/7/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, red chilies, curly red chilies, iodized fine salt, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,070 (15.44%) to Rp8,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the largest price decrease of Rp4,070 (12.6%) to Rp28,230 per kg.
