Jambi Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Monday, January 29, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (29/1/2024) at 09.39 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, red chilies, shallots, red curly chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, red onions, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red curly chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,270 (10.93%) to Rp43,340 per kg. Mackerel saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,730 (4.9%) to Rp33,550 per kg.
