Food Prices in Banten Region Wednesday (30/7): Red Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) at 11:07 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 14 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red cayenne pepper, consumption sugar, dry soybeans (imported), SPHP rice, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, corn at farmer level, frozen buffalo meat (imported), broiler eggs, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp5,682 (15.43%) to Rp42,500 per kg. As for corn prices at farmer level, they fell most sharply by Rp1,000 (12.5%) to Rp7,000 per kg.
