Prices of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil (2 Brands) in Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel's latest information, the price of packaged branded cooking oil (2-day average) in traditional markets in West Nusa Tenggara province is recorded at Rp20,650. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

However, compared to the price over the past month, the price of packaged branded cooking oil (2-day average) in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp20,550.

Meanwhile, the price of packaged branded cooking oil (2-day average) in traditional markets in West Nusa Tenggara over the past three months has increased by 3.77% from the previous record of Rp19,900.

The highest recorded increase in the price of packaged branded cooking oil (2-day average) in traditional markets in this province was in March 2022, with an increase of 11.9%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2022, with a decrease of -6.28%.

According to PIHPS observations, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Nusa Tenggara show 18 commodities decreasing and 10 increasing. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Chili (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Red Chili (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Large Red Chili (Traditional Market, by Province), Garlic, Daily Curly Red Chili (Traditional Market, by Province), Medium-sized Shallots, Daily Shallots (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Chicken Eggs (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Green Chili (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Premium Quality Sugar (Traditional Market, by Province), Low-Quality Rice Type II, Daily Bulk Cooking Oil (Traditional Market, by Province), Medium-sized Garlic, Daily Beef (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Red Chili (Traditional Market, by Province), Daily Grade 1 Beef (Traditional Market, by Province), and Super Quality Rice Type II.
