This is the Car Collection of Lukas Enembe, the Papuan Governor Arrested by the KPK.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested Papua Governor Lukas Enembe on Tuesday (10/1/2023).

According to his State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN), Lukas Enembe had assets worth Rp33.7 billion (approximately US$2.2 million) in 2021.

Part of his wealth includes four vehicles with a total value of almost Rp1 billion (approximately US$66,000), detailed as follows:

1. Toyota Fortuner (2007): Rp300 million (approximately US$20,000)
2. Honda Jazz (2007): Rp150 million (approximately US$10,000)
3. Toyota/Jeff Land Cruiser (2010): Rp396.35 million (approximately US$26,000)
4. Toyota Camry (2010): Rp85.53 million (approximately US$6,000)

Lukas was arrested in Jayapura after twice failing to appear for questioning by the KPK. This Democratic Party cadre has been named a suspect in a bribery and gratification case related to infrastructure projects funded by the Papua Regional Budget (APBD).

"Based on initial evidence, the (gratification) so far amounts to approximately Rp10 billion (approximately US$660,000)," said KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, as quoted by Kompas.com on Wednesday (11/1/2023).

The KPK also suspects Lukas received a bribe of Rp1 billion (approximately US$66,000) from the Director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijatono Lakka. The bribe was allegedly given to ensure Lukas chose that construction company as the winner of several infrastructure projects in Papua.

These projects include the rehabilitation of supporting facilities for Integrated Early Childhood Education (PAUD) worth Rp13.3 billion (approximately US$880,000), the development of an outdoor shooting range for the Indonesian Air Force (AURI) worth Rp12.9 billion (approximately US$850,000), and the improvement of the Entrop-Hamadi road worth Rp14.8 billion (approximately US$980,000).

Firli stated that the KPK has seized several of Lukas Enembe's assets from searches at six locations: Papua, Jakarta, Sukabumi, Bogor, Tangerang, and Batam.

"The seized assets include gold bars, gold jewelry, and luxury vehicles worth approximately Rp4.5 billion (approximately US$300,000)," said Firli.
