Sugar Prices in Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of granulated sugar in Bali's traditional markets is recorded at Rp18,850. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp18,850.

Meanwhile, the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets in Bali over the last three months has increased by 0.8% from the previous record of Rp18,700.

The highest record of daily granulated sugar price increases in the province's traditional markets was previously recorded in June 2020 with a 6.05% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2020 with a -5.7% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Bali today show 11 commodities decreased and 11 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Grade I Rice, Daily Red Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Broiler Chicken in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
