The daily price of low-quality rice in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province has decreased by 1.58% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in South Kalimantan province is recorded at Rp15,550. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, as is the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp15,800.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in South Kalimantan over the past three months has decreased by 2.2%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in South Kalimantan province was traded at Rp15,900.

The record high for the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2024 with an increase of 10.49%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2024 with a decrease of -9.49%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Kalimantan show nine commodities decreased and five others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Fresh Layer Eggs, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Red Onions, Garlic, Medium-Sized Garlic, Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Red Chili, and Curly Red Chili.
