Today's Food Prices (15/7) in East Java: Egg, Rice and Beef Prices Increased

Prices of several food commodities in East Java were observed to have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Goods Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (15/7/2026) at 13.26 WIB: out of 16 commodities, 7 prices increased while 6 decreased.

Commodities that rose in price include beef hindquarter, imported soybeans, premium rice, purebred chicken eggs, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices for commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, bird's eye chili, Honan garlic, and bulk granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday.

Purebred chicken meat recorded the highest increase at IDR 361 (1.1%) reaching IDR 33,082 per kg. Shallot prices saw the largest drop at IDR 272 (0.79%) down to IDR 33,991 per kg.

2. Bird's Eye Chili: IDR 40,586 / kg (-0.49%)
3. Shallot: IDR 33,991 / kg (-0.79%)
4. Honan Garlic: IDR 33,838 / kg (-0.18%)
5. Purebred Chicken Meat: IDR 33,082 / kg (+1.1%)
6. Curly Red Chili: IDR 31,494 / kg (-0.32%)
7. Large Red Chili: IDR 30,211 / kg (-0.24%)
8. Purebred Chicken Eggs: IDR 23,266 / kg (+0.36%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: IDR 21,681 / L (+0.14%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: IDR 19,187 / L (unchanged)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: IDR 16,881 / kg (-0.03%)
12. Minyakita: IDR 15,689 / L (unchanged)
13. Premium Rice: IDR 14,814 / kg (+0.06%)
