Food Prices Today in Bali: Onions Up, Red Chilies Down

The prices of several food ingredients in Bali today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (October 5, 2025) at 10.23 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red onions, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, pure beef, SPHP rice, packaged cooking oil, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn prices rose the highest by Rp283 (4.41%) to Rp6,700 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp2,301 (5.21%) to Rp41,824 per kg.

7. Red Onion: Rp32,059 per kg (up 2.59%)
8. Garlic Bulb: Rp31,529 per kg (down 0.17%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,500 per kg (down 2.74%)
10. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp31,471 per kg (up 2.07%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,400 per kg (down 0.01%)
